I am a chronic optimist, which can sometimes lead to temporary insanity. I search for the truth, which includes the many faces of it. Music moves me. I beleive that life is an adventure and all good adventures have demons to slay and lessons to learn. I love to love. Stories inspire me and creativity animates my being. Dancing can free you.

Hello... first time here... I read your profile... do you like Ofra Haza? She's just about my favorite. There's nothing like a collision of eurobeat, pop and middle east folk music!
True story... we lived in Maine and saw many of the Stephen King haunts. Anytime someone would visit, we would have to drive by his home on the way home from the airport and show them the wrought iron fence with the bats on it. My wife and kids "dined with" Mr. King one afternoon. They were at the next table at Miller's. My family was cool, but another guy wasn't and pestered him for an autograph. Mr. King graciously declined... a real down-to-earth guy and a gentleman.
Take care.
Thanks for stopping by, I have never been introduced to Ofra Haza, but I will check her out.
I honestly would not know what to do upon seeing Stephen King. I would not want to interupt his dinner, or pester him thats for sure, but I could not posibly let the moment go by without some kind of hello. I am just too inspired by him...
I would probably wait until he was finshed dining and then I would approach him and just introduce myself and tell him what an influence he has been, and that I wish we could just have tea. Or maybe his babies...LOL just kidding.
Ofra Haza was a Yemeni Jew... she died young and there's a big controversy about that. Anyway, she sings as Moses' mother in The Prince of Egypt and was starting to gain international fame. Her stuff is excellent.
